Amalgamated Transit Union International Women's Caucus (ATUIWC) is an organization of professional members with an interest and dedication in aiding women whom are intent in pursuing and continuing their education. All members of ATUIWC are eligible to apply for the ATUI Women's Caucus Scholarship.
Two scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $1,000.00 each; one for members in the United States and one for Canada.
In determining recipients, we are particularly interested in applicants who meet the following criteria:
- High School graduates or GED pursuing college or higher education.
- Students demonstrating financial need.
- Students demonstrating resiliency in adverse circumstances.
- Students submitting a completed application that responds to all items neatly and accurately.
Additional consideration will be given to the applicant's ability to adhere to the time schedule, and the ability of the applicant to express himself/herself in the "Letter from Candidate."
Please note that all applications must be postmarked no later than May 19, 2025, in order to receive consideration.
